Kannada actor Satheesh Ninasam has once again come out in support of online trolling and negativity and delivered his strong message at the song launch of Ayogya 2. And he also came up to defend filmmaker Mahesh Kumar and expressed his disappointment when he was hit with all the criticism and trolling by the director, even after 20 years of hard work in the industry.

In front of the film’s song “Anna Bandre,” Satheesh said that constructive criticism is always welcome, but negative comments on social media are not, and are not good for the people who post them. His sentiments are still going viral among Kannada cinema fans.
“Negative Comments Make Us Stronger”
When Satheesh spoke about the fast-growing criticism on social media, he said negative comments start to appear within minutes of a song or teaser being released.
He said that genuine feedback should always be respected if there are mistakes or shortcomings. But he questioned the purpose of people who continuously spread negativity without providing meaningful criticism.
And every cruel comment only makes the artists work harder and better, he said
If there is a mistake, people have every right to point it out, and we will accept it. But those who post negativity for the sake of it only make us stronger. The more negative comments they write, the stronger we become,” Satheesh said.
His statement was met with applause from those at the event.
There is strong support for director Mahesh Kumar
Satheesh also supported director Mahesh Kumar, who has recently come under criticism and trolling online for some of his public remarks.
The actor stated that Mahesh Kumar spent nearly a decade learning filmmaking and has worked for 15 years working in the Kannada film industry, working in different positions and many roles before becoming a director.
Satheesh wondered whether it was fair to reduce someone’s years of hard work to a few controversial moments or isolated statements.
As such, he also implored audiences and social media users to appreciate the dedication that every filmmaker has to go through in order not to target individuals through online abuse.
A Reminder of the 'Muddu Lakshmi' Controversy.
During his speech, Satheesh also pointed to an earlier controversy around the promotion of the song "Muddu Lakshmi."
The actor had made strong comments that were apparently controversial to a group of Kannada film producers at the time. Satheesh later appeared at a press conference organized by the producers' association to apologize for the misunderstanding, as he said so.
By addressing the incident again when he mentioned it at the Ayogya 2 ceremony, Satheesh seemed to reflect on how public statements can be interpreted differently and also reiterated his support for the event. He felt that Satheesh had to think about how public statements are often interpreted differently and the fact that he’s always doing things differently.
Constructive criticism vs. online trolling
Satheesh’s comments have revived discussion on the influence of social media on the entertainment industry. And actors and filmmakers have realized that audience feedback is important, but more and more people are voicing concern about personal attacks, abusive comments, and organized trolling campaigns on social media.
The actor stressed that criticism that is directed at improving cinema is valuable, but negativity without a reason will deter creative professionals who work hard for years to create the film.
As Ayogya 2 gets closer to release, Satheesh Ninasam’s message has resonated with many fans who believe artists deserve fair criticism and not targeted online harassment. His words tell us that resilience and determination often come through stronger in the face of negativity.
