Shahid Kapoor has secured his next movie after Cocktail 2, in which he stars as the actor. Shahid Kapoor has signed up to headline director Amit Ravindranath Sharma’s new comedy Adal Badal.
The film is produced by Sunir Kheterpal under a partnership with Amazon MGM Studios in a big deal with Bollywood star power and world production backing. Shooting is expected to start in October 2026 and pre-production is already in progress.
Shahid Kapoor has been given a huge acting fee of ₹18 crore and a backend profit‑sharing agreement for the film as well, so if it does well commercially, it is an added benefit. Janhvi Kapoor is set to work opposite Shahid, which is their first on‑screen collaboration.
