Anshula Kapoor (daughter of producer Boney Kapoor and sister of actor Arjun Kapoor) married her longtime partner Rohan Thakkar on 6 July 2026 in a beautiful ceremony at Taj Lands End, Mumbai. The couple’s first official wedding photos were posted on Instagram where fans could see a quiet yet emotional affair of the Kapoor family.
The wedding followed the traditional Hindu rituals of saat pheras, jaimala and sindoor daan. Anshula’s siblings Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor were bridesmaids and Arjun Kapoor was also there to see her and the ceremony. Uncle Anil Kapoor and family members were also involved in the wedding, and it was very much a family affair.
Anshula looked beautiful in a coral and gold lehenga with intricate embroidery. She wore emerald and kundan jewellery for her bridal outfit, including a maang tikka, statement choker, layered necklace and bangles. She was wearing two dupattas, one draped over her head and another across her shoulder, which gave her a regal bridal look.
Rohan Thakkar complemented her perfectly in an ivory sherwani with sequins, paired with matching trousers, a stole and a traditional turban. His understated attire complemented Anshula’s bright bridal look and provided a harmonious look for the couple’s big day.
The ceremony was filled with family moments. There was a portrait of Anshula’s late mother Mona Shourie Kapoor sitting next to the couple during the rituals, as a sign of her presence. Janhvi and Khushi helped Rohan apply sindoor to Anshula’s forehead, and Arjun later wrote a tender message on Instagram and promised to be there for his sister.
Sharing the dreamy wedding photos, Anshula wrote: “06.07.2026. Of all the people. Of all the places. Of all the timing. It was you. And yet, somehow, through all the twists, detours, and surprise, it is still you. My favourite conversation. My safest place. My easiest choice. Always you.” She did not want her words to hide the deep bond that she shares with Rohan.
The celebrations started weeks earlier with a Mata Ki Chowki on June 21, followed by mehendi, chooda and kaleere rituals. Janhvi and Khushi organized the mehendi, which Anshula called “the mehendi of her dreams.” Bollywood celebrities Sonam Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor, Shabana Azmi and Karisma Kapoor attended the festivities.
