Alia Bhatt and Sharvari's action-driven spy thriller Alpha, the latest addition to the YRF Spy Universe, continued its steady run at the box office on its sixth day in theatres. Despite the expected weekday slowdown, the film maintained consistent collections and is now on the verge of crossing the ₹75 crore mark worldwide.

According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Alpha earned ₹2.85 crore nett on Day 6 (Wednesday) across 7,321 shows in India. Even after the opening weekend, the film managed to retain audience interest in metro cities and multiplexes naturally.
With the latest earnings, the film's total India nett collection has climbed to ₹44.95 crore, while India gross collection is ₹53.59 crore. Alpha is now globally worth ₹74.89 crore and is only a few lakhs away from taking a place in the top of ₹75 crore club.
A strong start for YRF's Female-Led Spy Film
Alpha is a huge milestone for Yash Raj Films' Spy Universe since it is the first female-led action thriller. Sharvari is also playing alongside Alia Bhatt, very trained intelligence operatives on a high-stakes mission, full of action, espionage and suspense.
The film has generated a lot of buzz for its slick action sequences, international locations and high production values. Alia Bhatt and Sharvari’s chemistry is one of the things that has been highly successful in the film and the film’s attempt to extend the spy universe.
Weekday Collections Remain Stable
However, the drop has been relatively limited and we are seeing a lack of audience interest, the trade analysts say. Alpha has also had a decent sales success after the first weekend of release.
We believe that consistent collections on weekdays for large-scale commercial entertainers are a positive sign that collections are working in the weekend is a good sign, especially for big commercial entertainment companies. What will be the outcome of the film’s long-term theatrical performance in the film’s weekend will be the most important factor to be seen in the future.
If word-of-mouth continues to build and occupancy improves during the weekend, Alpha could easily cross the ₹100 crore worldwide milestone in the coming days.
